This is a massive, and multi-featured emission nebula. Note the Herbig-Haro object HH68 near the center of the image. It is associated with a dark cloud and elongated nebulosity. Whole thing resembles a sort of swooping bird. The patterns and textures scattered throughout the main nebula are intriguing to examine – sort of like an impressionist painting.
