This galaxy in Aquarius is classified as an SAB peculiar. It is also listed as an Arp object. It lies 76 million ly away.

The extensive plumes are evidence of a possible merger with another galaxy about a billion years ago. It may take another billion years to settle things down. At that time it could become an elliptical galaxy because there is little evidence of enough hydrogen gas left to form a significant amount of new stars.
