This is NGC7424 down in Grus. It lies 40 million ly away, and is remarkably similar in size (100,000 ly across) and design to our own galaxy.
The spiral arms are disturbed on the upper right side, probably due to the gravitational influence of another galaxy passing by at some point in time.
