Also known as NGC3627 this interesting galaxy is part of the Leo Triplet of galaxies. It lies 31 million ly away, and is about the size of the Milky Way with a diameter of about 96,000 ly. There are interactions over time between the Triplet. One such result may be the large halo around M66.
