The spectacular “Baby Eagle” Nebula, LBN 777, lies only about 450 ly away in Taurus. It is a dim object requiring a fair amount of processing to bring it out.
The nebula contains an interesting Barnard object. Barnard 207 is the long, oval shaped, magenta feature at the back of the eaglet’s head. A paper written on Barnard 207 concluded that it is composed of larger than usual dust particles. While this image shows just a few faint stars piercing this dense, star making region it would be assumed that the infrared camera on the Webb would reveal a very large number of them.
