Dubbed the “Robin’s Egg” this is a planetary nebula. It lies in the constellation Fornax about 700 ly away. It has an elliptical rather than spherical shape to it, and gives off a strong OIII signal. Note the small reddish features to its immediate right. Astronomers believe this material was ejected earlier from the dying star.
