This trio of interacting galaxies lies far south at -60 Deg DEC in the constellation of Pavo, the Peacock. Note the arm on the left one strung out toward the one on the right. This long exposure brings out the dim halo of material which connects the 3 galaxies. Also, note the “ears” on the one to the bottom left, presumably created by the interaction.
