At the great distance of about 285 million ly we find this interesting pair of interacting galaxies. They passed near each other about a billion years ago, and a long, faint, tidal bridge still connects them. Material is being exchanged between the two galaxies along the bridge. Note the tidal “tail” extending behind the one on the right. This was also a result of the close encounter.
