Here is the status of an old favorite – Hubble’s Variable Nebula” – as of 2/26/2023. The star R Monoceros is lighting up a small nebula, where clouds of dust occasionally drift by blocking the light from the star, resulting in a distinct variation in the tail’s features over only a period of months.
