LDN1634

This is a seldom imaged section of the night sky because of all the other popular objects in Orion. Its LDN1634, a complex mixture of interwoven emission and reflection nebulas with subtle shadings. It is part of the BRC (bright cloud complex).

On a lighter side I can’t help seeing a resemblance to a giant fish about to strike a fly (bright star on left).
