M7 is an open cluster of young, blue/white stars that has migrated across space until it finds itself
between us and the galactic core. Here in Sagittarius the old, red giant stars are massed tightly, and glow
with a reddish sand color. The brilliant blue stars of M7 make a nice contrast with the clouds of old stars
swarming in the background.
